Last Tuesday Cafés are an on-line forum that enables the Walking the Land network of artists to meet, exchange and discuss ideas about individual and shared creative activity. We gather in the evening of the last Tuesday of alternate months hosting artist conversations and updating each other on progress from projects and core activities, sharing new ideas, areas of interest and co-ordinating network activities and events.
These evenings offer an ideal opportunity to find out more about how to get involved with Walking the Land and connect with other walking artists. Cafés begin at 7.30 pm London time.

Amanda Steer
Amanda has an MA in illustration from the University of Gloucestershire where her final project engaged Cleeve Common through walks and dialogues with residents and various experts. This inspired Lino prints, an artists book and infographic boards. Her work uses visual story telling as a tool for engagement.
Wendy Rhodes
Wendy’s prints explore bridleways that are in walking distance of her home and the effects of shadows falling across local lanes. Her prints use a combination of traditional intaglio methods and explorative mark making techniques on copper plates. Her PhD was entitled Drawing and Etching Place.

Eileen Dunlop
Eileen qualified from Birmingham City University with an MA in Art Practice & Education. The art practice involved walking 100 miles along the River Severn recording ambient sounds and smells. Eileen continues to walk the Rivers Avon and Severn daily and is enjoying printmaking at her own studio and at the Gloucestershire Printmaking Co-operative.

There will be time for questions and answer plus break out rooms for discussion.
