This eGallery shows the artworks created by participants
who shared Walking the Land's approach into landscape art during this June
morning's ArtWalk along the banks of the magnificent River Severn.
Starting from The Old Passage Inn at Arlingham, Participants made their artwork
using ‘the walk’ of around 5k and the River as their subject.
Most of the sketchbook work was completed rapidly and all the images were
made as a response to the changing conditions of the River, the light and
location.
During the walk, artists were guided by photographers, artists and lecturers
Richard Keating and Kel Portman, who will offered creative guidance, help
and advice about subject choice, technique and process.
